My 10 Favorite Blogs

Mashable has asked around the blog world, on the alleged 10th birthday of blogging, what are your ten favorite blogs?

I have at the moment 114 feeds that I actively read on in my RSS aggregator (aka bloglines). The ten that I just couldn’t live without are as follows (in no particular order):

1. 

   xckd - An online webcomic run by Randall Munroe full of geeky humor. Today’s post shows exactly why I enjoy it so much.

2. 

   Jeffrey Morgenthaler - This is a new edition to my feed reader. It’s blog written by bartender Jeffrey Morgethaler that has many delicious drink recipes as well as some great articles on bar tending and bar life.

3. 

   456 Berea Street - One of my very favorite web dev blogs, written by the very talented Roger Johansson.

4. 

   Andy Budd::Blogography - Andy Budd is a CSS guru and author of one of my favorite CSS books, CSS Mastery. Check out the awesome links list as he is regularly adding cool new resources.

5. 

   Dosh Dosh - Well written posts on how to legitimately make money online through blogging, affliate marketing, etc.

6. 

   COLOURlovers - Blog of one of my favorite sites with articles on color, and palettes based on many different topics (for example check out this one using bird colors).

7. 

   Blogging Pro - News on blogging, blog applications, themes plugins and more.

8. 

   TMZ - Yes, I am a sucker for celebrity gossip and snark.

9. 

   Mashable - Social networking news.

10. 

    CSS Drive - New sites added to the gallery just about daily for some awesome CSS examples.
