I love looking at the analytics for my site. I love seeing what articles are most popular, what people land on the most, where they come from and where they leave.
A few months ago I learned about Woopra - a free tracking/analytics program that has a beautiful gui and some pretty freakin’ cool features.

A few weeks ago a new javascript, Unit PNG Fix, was released by Unit Interactive for an IE6 and below PNG support fix. Up until now I have been using SuperSleight with no issues. So I decided to do a little research this morning to find out what made Unit’s Interactive PNG fix better than good old SuperSleight.
One of my favorite parts when creating a new design is the process of choosing a color scheme. There are times when the colors just fall into place after I have my main color, or when using a photo the colors just flow around it. But sometimes you need a little help.
Whether your looking for a color scheme to base your design on or you need a little help picking out complimentary colors the generators, articles, color wheels and more below will assist and inspire your color creativity.
I’m so excited! I just logged on to read my RSS feeds and have found out that the long anticipated 2.5 version of WordPress has been released. The WordPress.org development blog has a detailed list of the new (and upgraded) features of WordPress itself, and the back end administration panel.
I’m downloading my copy right now, and while I’m a little bit hesitant, will be uploading it ASAP.
But, really, as silly as it may sound, I’m most excited about the new WordPress.org design. I don’t even know where to start about how vast an improvement this is over the previous design, which like WordPress, was very simple, very sparse. The new version isn’t guady, isn’t overbearing, but just is the perfect fit for WordPress. Simple and elegant. I believe that Happy Cog was the firm behind the new design of both WordPress.org and the new WordPress administration panel. Thanks to Jamie for pointing out that Matt Thomas was the one who worked on the design for the .org site! I swear I read that Happy Cog and Wordpress were working together on the WP site, but I was wrong!

The things I can’t wait to test are the multi-file uploading (great for blogs who’s posts often contain several photos/images), tag management, galleries!, and of course the much talked about new administration panel. Well, I’m too excited to wait much longer, so I’m going to install and hope I don’t kill my blog :P
Yesterday Ben, from Binary Moon, released a new plugin that allows you to modify your WordPress login screen without worrying about it being being overwritten by future WordPress updates. This got me thinking about my very favorite adminstrative WordPress plugins that make my life easier when using WordPress. These are plugins I have used or want to use that focus on things like making the admin panel more friendly, that help organize and customize advertising, block spam, gather information, and more.
